In coordination with Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday, Camp Speers-Eljabar YMCA is hosting Teen Leadership Weekend to bring teens from throughout the tri-state region together to learn about community service opportunities available in their communities, states and around the world.

Guest speakers, presentations and workshops will focus on the variety of service opportunities available, how to get involved, what skills you need and can gain, and how community service helps you in future employment.

There will also be lots of time for fun and recreation including a DJ Dance on Saturday night. Hikes, games & sports, Teens will stay in heated cabins with staff supervision of 1:12. Participants must bring bedding, toiletries, and clothing.

Registration fee of $ 100 per person includes loding, meals and activities. Optional transportation from a variety of NY and NJ locations is an additional $ 40 one way or $ 80 round trip. Transportation details will be provided following registration.
