Demand for the essence of the Camp Speers-Eljabar experience every day of the year has driven our expansion to serve men, women, children, students, and families throughout the year. Our programs offer time away for learning new things, self-discovery, and trust-building.Horseback Riding
As we ride and handle horses we acquire a sense of trust, respect for the horses, and self-discipline. When we spend time with horse – whether riding, grooming, or mucking stalls – we learn that both horses and their riders need regular exercise, proper nutrition, adequate rest, and caring attention.
Vacation Fun Camps
Vacation days at school means Camp Speers-Eljabar is in session! During the academic year K through 5th Grade students can make a school closing a real holiday at Camp!
Mother-Daughter Weekend

Outdoor Education
Camp Speers-Eljabar YMCA, nestled in the northeast Pocono Mountains, features a 42 acre lake, 1100 acres of pristine forest and Sphagnum bog, makes for an ideal location for a residential school environmental program.
