School Days Off Day Camps

Kids have the day off from school and don’t know what to do? Sign them up for Day’s Off Day Camp Programs at Camp Speers! Children will be provided with a day’s worth of fun activities, which will vary as our seasons do, lunch, and a whole lot more!

Survival Sundays!

Looking for a weekend adventure? Join us at camp for Survival Sundays at Camp Speers YMCA. You’ll dabble in knot tying, sawing wood, making fires, creating shelters, outdoor cooking, climbing our rock wall, and much more. End your day with an adventure challenge to see if you’ve mastered all the skills! Will you survive?!

Red Cross Certification Programs

Adult classes for First Aid/CPR/AED and youth Babysitting Certification will be offered during both our fall and winter seasons.

First Aid/CPR/AED Sessions:

     November 17th 9am-3pm
February 23rd 9am-3pm

Babysitting Certification Classes:

     December 10-11 6pm-9pm (must attend both days)
March 17-18 6pm-9pm (must attend both days)


Girl Scout Weekends:

Calling all Girl Scouts! Come enjoy a weekend at Camp Speers YMCA in the Poconos. We have a great weekend of activities planned for your troop to enjoy. We offer boating, archery, climbing wall, high ropes/zip lining, and more! We’ll gather together for a closing campfire Saturday evening with s’mores. Earn parts of the Camper Badge at your scout level. Pricing includes housing, meals, activities, a Camp Speers YMCA patch and shirt to tie dye.
April 24-26, 2020 $140.00 per person
October 9-11, 2020 $140.00 per person

Free Family Fun Days:

Want to dabble in the camp environment? Join us for a camp tour and try various activities (varies per season). Please register online in advance. 1-5pm

Bog Hikes:

Come to Camp Speers YMCA to experience our
protected bog, which is a relic of the last ice age and now a permanently protected haven that
provides a unique outdoor experience. Registration is required, but there is no cost to join the tour. 1:30-3:00pm
***Note: Our bog trail path is a moderate level hike containing a fairly rocky terrain. Please wear sturdy shoes, bring a water bottle, and contact us ahead of time if there are any accommodations you will require to help you be successful in your time at Camp Speers YMCA.
