Camp Abilities
Camp Abilities is a traditional overnight program for kids and young adults with Autism, 22q, Down Syndrome, and other cognitive and developmental disabilities. We aim to make camp a reality for as many families as possible. By partnering with parents and experts in the medical field, we can provide accommodations for our campers that allows them to be successful at camp.
What is Camp Abilities?
Camp Abilities provides children with cognitive and development disabilities the chance to enjoy the great outdoors, challenge themselves, and build friendships with fellow campers. They will participate in daily activities like swimming, archery, rock climbing, horseback riding, and so much more!

During their time at overnight camp, students will share a cabin with their counselor and campers from all over the tri-state area. At Camp Abilities we have specialized counselors and ratios to ensure our campers are having a safe and fun experience.

Camp Abilities offers two main camp options: Autism & 22q Camp, and Explorers Camp. Grab your sleeping bag and camping gear and get ready for an unforgettable experience!

Explorers Camp
This program serves teens and young adults ages 18-27 who are interested in independent life skills. Campers spend part of their day at life skills workshops and the remaining part of the day participating in the fun camp activities. During this program we follow a 1:4 counselor to camper ratio.
