Overnight Camp

An overnight stay at Camp Speers YMCA is a gift that will fill your child with a lifetime of memories! Our safe, child-centered community helps campers discover who they are and what they can become. As campers swim, climb, play sports, explore their creativity, learn social skills, and just have fun, they will develop confidence and independence.

What is Overnight Camp?

Overnight camp is an opportunity for children to experience camp while staying in one of many cabins across our Speers and Eljabar Villages! They will participate in daily activities like swimming, archery, rock climbing, horseback riding, and so much more!

During their time at overnight camp, students will share a cabin with their counselor and campers from all over the tri-state area. Sharing a cabin is a unique opportunity where campers make new friends, navigate relationships and prepare for fun days ahead.

Overnight camp is offered in three main categories: traditional, specialty, and equestrian. Grab your sleeping bag and camping gear and get ready for an unforgettable experience!

Camp Friends

Traditional Camp

This is our classic Camp Speers experience! A perfect camp option for the first-time and seasoned camper.

Campers will join a cabin of 9-11 other campers while they embark on daily adventures together while forming new friendships.

Rock Climbing

Specialty Camp

This option is excellent for campers who know what they love or want to try something new!

Campers will engage in specialty programs that follow specific themes like: art, animal lovers, cooking, outdoor adventure, and so much more.

Horse Riding Fun

Equestrian Camp

Horse lovers unite! Campers will get extra hours to improve their horse riding skills while learning to care for the animals.

We offer camp options for all experience levels of riders. We can't wait for you to learn to love our amazing stable of horses.

Lake Fun

Abilities Camp

We are proud to offer camp options for children who are living with Autism, 22q, Down Syndrome, and other cognitive and developmental disabilities.

We aim to make camp a reality for as many families as possible by partnering with parents and experts in the medical field.
