We strive to build confidence and independence in every camper and this process can begin even before camp starts with an open house. Come get a preview of summer camp fun!
Camp Speers welcomes you to an open house to enjoy a guided tour, learn more about camp programs, get to know some of the staff, and try some of the activities. Bring the whole family and some friends to enjoy a day of camp fun at no charge.

Financial Assistance
We owe our ability to offer a true Camp for Everyone to our generous donors who enable us to offer an excellent financial assistance program. Campership applications are confidential and are available beginning in January. The amount of assistance granted is based on taxable income from the previous year, family circumstances, and available funds.
Payments
- At the time of registration, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot in each selected session.
- Overnight Camp, One-Week Session: $200 per session
- Overnight Camp, Two-Week Session: $300 per session
- Day Camp: $50 per session
- Final payments are due and will be charged on June 1st.
- Optional payment plans: Your card will be charged on the first day of each month.
- Payment options include cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
- If you cancel by June 1, 2025, you’ll receive a refund minus the non-refundable deposit. No refunds are issued after this date.
- Session cancellation requests must be in writing to campers@philaymca.org.
- There are no fee reductions for late arrivals or early departures.
- No refunds for homesickness, dismissal, or voluntary withdrawal.
- Approved refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
